No minimum sales

Every retail sale counts. There is no minimum sales requirement to earn commission.

Credit applies to eligible fees only

Retail commission is applied as a credit against your Salon Lane membership fees and cannot be redeemed for cash.

No cash payout

Commission is available as a Salon Lane fee credit only and cannot be paid out in cash.

A few quick answers to help you understand how retail commission works and how your credits are applied.

What is considered net retail sales?

Net retail sales are eligible product sales excluding GST, discounts, refunds and returns. Commission is calculated on this adjusted net amount.

What happens if I forget to use my PIN?

The sale may not be attributed to you. Members are responsible for using their own 4-digit PIN on the retail terminal so sales can be captured correctly.

When is my commission credited?

Eligible sales are reviewed after month end. The 20% commission is then raised as a credit and applied against your membership fees for that monthly cycle.

What happens if I do not have enough fees to offset the commission?

The commission can only be credited against available membership fees. It cannot be paid as cash. If you are a casual member with no bookings or membership fees in that month, there is no fee available for the credit to offset.

Can commission be paid as cash?

No. Commission is applied as a credit against eligible Salon Lane membership fees only.
