SALON LANE SUSTAINABILITY IMPACT AWARD WINNER

Award-Winning
Salon Lane Wins Sustainability Impact Award
Brisbane, Australia — August 21, 2025
Salon Lane, the premium shared workspace provider for independent hair, beauty and wellness professionals, has been named the winner of the 2025 Flexible Workspace Australia (FWA) Sustainability Impact Award, recognising its leadership in eco-conscious operations and sustainable industry practices.
Since its launch, sustainability has been at the heart of Salon Lane. In partnership with Sustainable Salons, members have diverted 2.8 tonnes of waste from landfill over the past year alone, including plastics, paper, metals, and even hair, repurposed into booms for oil spill clean-ups.
“Sustainability is one of our key pillars” said Jared Keen, CEO of Salon Lane. “Our members tell us how proud they are to welcome clients into spaces that reflect their values. By integrating eco-conscious practices into every aspect of our operations, we’re showing that businesses can succeed while making a meaningful and positive environmental impact.”
Salon Lane’s sustainable initiatives go far beyond waste recycling. The company implements water-saving EcoHeads shower taps, reusable towels and cups, biodegradable products, and carbon offset programs, helping members run their businesses responsibly while reducing water consumption and carbon emissions.
While the award marks a major milestone, there's still more work to do. The company remains committed to achieving 100% salon waste diversion, reducing single-use products, and inspiring meaningful change across the hair, beauty, and wellness industries.
